I think I run support tool too late. After Last crash I run and closed DVBV. Please exlain how to use suppotr tool correctly. And increase attachment limit for me please. After next crash I will do it again.

hmmm, ram problem perhaps

Use memtest86 to test the ram.

And if memtest86 reports errors, well swap the defective ram dimm.

If you are overclocking, ram failure is faster then with normal timed ram.

You did mention (randomly) so that verifies to me the ram problem.

if you where using DVBViewer for some time now and system stable, but suddenly random errors...First to chek is ram.

Ram test ok, memtest86 and also unpacking few very large archives. no problems. There is no overclocking. According spec RAM should support up to 1066 MHz. 5-5-15 I run it @800 5-5-5-18 fail safe defaults. According the log it looks like RAM problem(same address), but all tests are OK. just to be on the safe side I changed RAM modules between slots. The problem also happens in the same module. May be it has a sense to check it carefullly?

P.S. No problems untill now but I did not use DVBV too much. No problem in other applications at all. Why did I test archives? - because on my desktop memtest was ok and teting RAR file (test button) showed random CRC errors in different parts of archive. finally I replaced OCZ reaper with Kingston PC2-8500 KHX8500D2K2/4G

and used the same in HTPC

If channel signal is low, most mosaic, then it's likely to exit with access violation for me.

It happened again. I had few signal drops like radar interference, several short periodic disconnections, period was around 2 seconds, then access violation

last line of log repeated many times. other files in support.zip are the same. I run memory tests immediately after crash - memory is ok and working in failsafe mode.

Why debug version does not support plugins? It could be much easyer to localize the problem. Unfortunately without plugins DVBViever is 100% unusable in my environment.

Unfortunately without plugins DVBViever is 100% unusable in my environment.

If a plugin cause a the problem you should inform the plugin developer. And ask if he can fix this or remove the plugin.

DVBViewer.log does not say that plugin caused access violation. I tried to run debug version - no plugin support there
