Per Raebild Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 (edited) I have a problem - have tried to install 2 TechnoTrend DVBC budget TT-C1501 at my Vista Mediacenter I was advised to use DVBLink and have followed the instruction 100%, DVBViewer scan channels and all available channels works fine. After installing DVBLink, DVBViewer starts hanging and slows down the computer very much - (i have stopped the service DVBlink server). Im using DVBViewer pro edition 4.2.1.0 and DVBLinkServer + DVBLinkDV available at http://www.dvbsbridge.com/DVBViewer.php Further more i have tried a complete new installation of both Windows Vista Ultimate + Windows7 64bit, no matter what i do the system ends up hanging. Is anybody recognizing this problem, i would be very grateful to have a hint about what to do? Best regards Per Ræbild Edited October 11, 2009 by Per Raebild Quote
neko Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 I'm having the same problem, TerraTec Cinergy C PCI HD card, DVBViewer and DVBLink for Vista Home Premium - followed the instructions completely... Does anybody know how to work around this? Quote
pinbot Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 Forget DVBLink, dump Mediacenter and (almost) everything will work fine. Quote
neko Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 Forget DVBLink, dump Mediacenter and (almost) everything will work fine. Not very helpful. I'm not asking your opinion about VMC and DVBLink, but about help configuring this. If I were to dump VMC and DVBLink, it would be for MythTV, not DVBViewer standalone. Did anybody find a solution? Tjod Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 If the DVBViewer without DVBLink works and you have only problems if you use DVBLink the DVBLogic Forum is a better place for your question. http://dvblogic.com/phpBB3/viewforum.php?f=37 Quote
