coromo Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 The DVBViewer features list and manual make it clear that it is possible to schedule programmes on different channels (i.e. multiple tuners) to be recorded at the same time. I have a project where I will need to record channels from a DVB-T source and a DVB-S source at the same time. Has anybody had experience doing this - or know whether this is possible? please feel free to reply in German if you prefer - I will get my dictionary out ... - Colin M Quote
Tjod Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 It is possible to record DVB-T and DVB-S channels at the same time. You need only a DVB-T and a DVB-S tuner in your PC. Than you only need to create the timer for the recordings. But it is not possible to map channels. If you have a channel which transmits via DVB-T and DVB-S you will have two channels in DVBViewer one DVB-T and one DVB-S. Quote
Griga Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 I have two PCs. One with two DVB-S/S2 PCI cards (Hauppauge Nova S2 HD & SkyStar S2) plus a TerraTec Cinergy T2 USB (DVB-T) device. No problem recording from three devices at the same time. The second PC with a TechnoTrend 3600 S2 USB (DVB-S/S2) and Pinnacle PCTV 72e USB (DVB-T). Works as well. Quote
