Timeshift on channel change

Hi, Well ive have a quick question.. Ive remember in previous versions of DVBViewer that when on timeshift it records the whole live feed from when you start the program till you end it. But this i dont see in the newer versions. When i change channel now it deletes the previous timeshift on channel and starts a new for the new channel.

Question: Is it possible to make one big timeshift channel that contains all the channels ive watched until i quite the program?

If you timeshift across different channels there are problems if audio/video-format is changing.

...and PIDs are changing, as in most cases. Therefore technically impossible, at least in a single timeshift file resp. buffer.

In TimeshiftPlus this is handled by a PID-replacement-management.
