Must I tune to one channel of the station in order to receive EPG of all channels?

 

Or could I separate the EPG from the programs?

The DVBViewwer collects all EPG from the one Frequency.

What EPG you get dependent on what the station is transmitting.

I have been battling with the following problem for some time:

My DVBV installation has two TV sources, one from satellite using the floppy dtvs2 and the other from cable STB using the HD-PVR.

EPG data works well for the satellite setup, but doesn't work well from the cable STB.

I prefer to watch from the STB because the quality is much better and I wondering how I can use the EPG data coming from the satellite with the STB.

In short, how can I make DVBV to understand that it's the same station either from satellite or STB and use the EPG data from the satellite.
