Zedhok Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Ok. I understand I need to get CAM but dont now which one for my HVR-4000? None of them support videoguard including WinTV-CI. Thanks, Zed. Quote
Benarty Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 (edited) NDS videoguard is a closed system. That means, if the provider really want's to avoid that pc's can be used to decrypt the signal, then they can do that. And even if it is possible with some software, then this is a illegal move. So first question would be: which encrypted bouquet are you trying to receive with DVBViewer? Edited November 4, 2009 by Benarty Quote
Zedhok Posted November 4, 2009 Author Posted November 4, 2009 I have a Total TV packadge from W2 satelite, I have a original box and card that I purchased but would like to move my system on HD pc setup where I have HVR-4000, omnikey 3121 and DVBViewer. I have seen on net that this is possible with omnikey reader but I dont understand those plug-ins wery well. I just want to use my card that I paid for and watch HD TV nothing else. Thanks, Zed Quote

Forum Rules: § 13 Do not ask for or discuss plugins for descrambling/decrypting pay-tv or key-codes. Although the DVBViewer Pro provides full pay-tv functionality it must only be used in combination with a valid subscription of a pay-tv provider, a tv-card/box featuring a "conditional access module" (CAM)and/or the corresponding "common interface" (CI) with a smart-card. This applies regardless whether software-descrambling is allowed in your country or not. http://www.DVBViewer.info/forum/index.php?act=boardrules Quote
