Elinsa Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Hi! I'm new to DVBViewer and got one problem. I currently got 2 LNBs connected to a switch with 2 ports. I have one LNB that is for Thor connected to AA and one LNB that is for Sirius connected to AB. But no matter how I try I can't seem to get them both to work properly. How should my DiSEqC setup look like inside DVBViewer? Quote
Derrick Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 ..try to scan with TransEdit. There you can easily change the diseqc settings. Maybe it's the other way (BA, AA) round? Quote
Elinsa Posted November 3, 2009 Author Posted November 3, 2009 Will try it out. Although, I'm positive that the AA/AB is correct due to I had those settings in my Dreambox and that worked out fine. And another strange this is, that if I search for Thor on Pos A / Opt A I can get channels, but if I do a search for Sirius after that on Pos B / Opt A I can't get anything. Even thought I have signal and all those buttons (PAT PMT) lights up as if they found a channel. If I do the other way around with a clean install, I can first get Sirius but Thor is completly dead. Using XP SP3. FloopyDTV with the latest drivers. Latest DVBViewer. Is it Pos A/Opt A and Pos B / Opt A that I should use or something else? I am just used to AA/AB Quote
machare Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 What DVB-S card are you using? It may be that the card is not supplying enough current to drive the switch and the LNB. Last Janurary, I had to download some Hauppauge Beta drivers to get my Nova HD DVB S2 card to drive my four way switch. The Hauppauge drivers in Windows 7 are OK. Quote
