I use the pinnacle 2001e dual tuner and can only record and watch from the same channel, when I change channel on tuner b it is black no image or sound but if it is the same channel as the one from tuner A it plays it. how can I fix this?

Configure one input as channel group A

Configure the second input as channel group B

Then be sure that the first is only looking at channel group A and the second only in channel group B

So.. be sure that the channels are mapped correctly of just delete the channel list and scan the channels again.

One time for group A (with the first DVB-card input) then a new scan for the B group (with the second dvb-card input)

And most important, the LNB must be able to send seperate full streams (H/V) to each input of the dvb card.

So, for instance, two standard lnb's + multiswitch or minimal a disecq switch.

Or, one LNB with build in switch.

Encrypted signals : means two cam modules and two valid smartcards if you want to have full access on both encrypted as FTA.

..what lnb? It's DVB-T. I don't have any experience with such a stick but it depends on the mode. This can be either diversity or dual. 1 transponder -> diversity, 2-> dual. Afaik the DVBViewer switches automatically between these modes.

You need the channel groups only in one case. If one tuner is not able to revise all channels the other tuner is able to revise.

Don't use them if you not relay need them.

In this case ther is no need for the channel groups.

The Pinnacle PCTV Dual DVB-T Diversity Stick is able to work in Diversity mode (to signals merged into one).

Some Sticks switch automatically for some there is special tool bundled with the driver.
