luxury54 Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 Hello to all ! I have a question for you specialists out there - if I buy a DVBViewer license, do I need internet connection every time I will start the program so the authorization for a legal copy can be processed? I would like to install it on my HTPC that has no internet connection so that's why I'm asking cause I wouldn't like to buy license and then the program to stop after 25 minutes like it is happening with a demo version. So that's what I would like to know,is it enough to autorize the program just once using the internet connection and after that it would run normally, or do I have to connect it to internet everytime I start the program or maybe even during the program's running process also to check the authorization from time to time during the time that I watch TV ? and my last question would be if I pay 1 license, can I use the program simultaneously on 2 of my PC's in the house ? BIG thanks in advance for your answers Quote
Devastation Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 need internet connection every time No like it is happening with a demo version. There is no demo available! So it is for sure that you have a illegal copy of DVBV and that is meant to stop after some time. This is called copy protection! if I pay 1 license, can I .....2 of my PC's in the house Yes. And now... please: http://www.DVBViewer.com/en/index.php?page=ordering and do not longer use the illegal copy. Quote
salama_tv Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Plz correct me .. (1) I will need an internet connection just for one time for user data validation. After that I can remove my USB 3G internet modem and leave the program run with no need for internet connection every time. (2) If I format my computer, I'll need this one time internet connection again for user data re-validation. (3) Without this one time internet connection, the legal copy will stop as if it was illegal. Quote
Griga Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 You will need no internet connection for user data validation. Only for receiving the mail with your user data. You have to enter it on installation. That's all. Quote
