calande Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Hello, I'd like to set up a DVB-T server with a dual DVB-T board and DVBViewer Server. This way I should be able to watch TV on my laptop in my bed using wifi connection But I'd like to know how I can remotely control DVBViewer server...I mean, I'd like to tell DVBViewer server from my laptop one way or another that I want to change to channel xyz. How could I do that? Last but not least, can DVBViewer server stream two channels simultaneously using a dual DVB-T card? Thanks for your help Quote
desweil Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 You just install the Recording Service on the "Server". Then you can install the normal DVBViewer Client on the Laptop and configure two Unicast Devices. Then you can switch channels etc. on your Laptop. You can also watch 2 Channels at the same time(on one or more clients) with 2 dvb-t cards in the server. Actually even more if they are on the same transponder. The configuration for this can be found here: http://en.DVBViewer.tv/wiki/Category:DVBVi...cording_Service Quote
