ardua97 Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 yesterday in Italy and particularly in Lazio(an Italian region where I live) I receive some DVBT channels HD (HD Canale 5, Italia 1 hd, hd rai) I noticed a certain slowness in the channel change when I go on an HD channel the sound begin after one or two seconds the video takes about 8 seconds as video card i have a sapphire HD4650 ULTIMATE 1GB HDMI PCI-E as tv card i have a hauppauge hvr4000 as divx codec video decoder: Cyberlink Video/SP Decoder(PDVD9 UPnP) Render Video:EVR Vista EnHanced video render I tried to ceckout the two voices detects audio format detects video format and it seem to me that goes a bit faster those two setting are usefull ? there are thinks that i can do to make channel change faster Quote
Gioxy Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 there are thinks that i can do to make channel change fasteryes, two: the first is the one you have already setted while the second is to check "Settings / Options /TV+Radio / Fast Channel Switching" (in italiano: "Impostazioni / Opzioni / TV e Radio / Cambio Canale veloce"). The first setting check, at every channel change, the correct type of the audio/video stream to pass it to DirectX chain; unchecking this whoul lead sometime to a bad decoding of one of the two stream (it's depending on codec "flexibility"...); a "Rebuild graph" can correct this... The second setting, when on, don't rebuild the graph on every channel change; as the first it can, sometimes, force you to manually rebuild the graph... Quote

ardua97 Posted November 18, 2009 Author Posted November 18, 2009 (edited) also thye secondsetting was already setted comunque i canali hd si vedono bene however the HD channels are seen well and are few so when I want to follow along a transmission on one of those channels will go HD on channel otherwise remain on those sd as decoder Video H.264 i use Cyberlink H.264/AVC Decoder (PDVD7.x) is this ok ?
