yesterday in Italy and particularly in Lazio(an Italian region where I live)

I receive some DVBT channels HD (HD Canale 5, Italia 1 hd, hd rai)

I noticed a certain slowness in the channel change when I go on an HD channel

the sound begin after one or two seconds

the video takes about 8 seconds

as video card i have a sapphire HD4650 ULTIMATE 1GB HDMI PCI-E

as tv card i have a hauppauge hvr4000

as divx codec

video decoder: Cyberlink Video/SP Decoder(PDVD9 UPnP)

Render Video:EVR Vista EnHanced video render

I tried to ceckout the two voices

detects audio format

detects video format

and it seem to me that goes a bit faster

those two setting are usefull ?

there are thinks that i can do to make channel change faster

yes, two: the first is the one you have already setted while the second is to check "Settings / Options /TV+Radio / Fast Channel Switching" (in italiano: "Impostazioni / Opzioni / TV e Radio / Cambio Canale veloce").

The first setting check, at every channel change, the correct type of the audio/video stream to pass it to DirectX chain; unchecking this whoul lead sometime to a bad decoding of one of the two stream (it's depending on codec "flexibility"...); a "Rebuild graph" can correct this...

The second setting, when on, don't rebuild the graph on every channel change; as the first it can, sometimes, force you to manually rebuild the graph...

also thye secondsetting was already setted

comunque i canali hd si vedono bene

however the HD channels are seen well

and are few so when I want to follow along a transmission on one of those channels will go HD on channel

otherwise remain on those sd

as decoder Video H.264 i use Cyberlink H.264/AVC Decoder (PDVD7.x)

is this ok ?
