galmok Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 I am somewhat puzzled to find myRecordings empty all of a sudden. I have provided a Recorder path and that path holds numerous .ts files recorded by DVBViewer. I also added the same path to Movie VirtualPath where I also added a path to some AVI files. In Movie Thumbs I generated thumbnails which seemed to be working just fine. But showing the myRecordings UI shows only an empty screen (i.e. no files are shown at all). And I just don't understand why... Has anyone experienced anything similar? What could I have missed? Quote
galmok Posted November 28, 2009 Author Posted November 28, 2009 Oh, and when I record new stuff it also doesn't appear in the list. I have to play recording using File->Open... now. :-( Quote
galmok Posted November 28, 2009 Author Posted November 28, 2009 I looked in the MediaDatabase.db file and it seemed to contain all files, but I didn't check with a db tool. I renamed the file and let DVBViewer recreate the file and it is recreated with no files in it. So for some reason, DVBViewer fails to enumerate the files. I have added the supporttool file in case anyone can use it to help me. support.zip Quote
Lars_MQ Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 it seems somehow the decimal seperator is not consistend. The system saves it with a "," but wants to read it with a ".". The current beta does have a failsafe for these cases. It seems all of the sudden your windows locale settings have changed... Wonder why... Quote

I did mess with the locale settings today because I couldn't get OpenOffice to use . as a decimal separator. I didn't think this would have affected DVBViewer. I'll try the beta Quote
