infomate Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 What can I do, when the task scheduler won't hibernate the pc. I'm using Windows 7, I've enabled Windows tasks from DVBViewer settings, all timed recordings can be seen on Scheduler.exe. I don't use password, can it be the problem? Windows 7 hibernates without any login-screen, just like XP did but not Vista. With wista some registries had to be modified. Is it the same thing with 7? I wouldn't like to use password. Help would be appreciated. Quote
tbuk00 Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 (edited) Remove Taskscheduler. Use Eventghost. DVBViewerplugin activate, ready. http://www.eventghost.org/ Edited December 5, 2009 by tbuk00 Quote
infomate Posted December 6, 2009 Author Posted December 6, 2009 (edited) Excuse me, activate what plugin? Last night, with scheduler, DVBViewer didn't record anything, Windows wasn't even in standby. I timed the recording normally. This morning I made some tests, everything went well except hibernation. I deleted scheduler.exe and now the program won't launch itself when timed recordings start. Recording starts when I launch DVBViewer myself. I don't understand. Edited December 6, 2009 by infomate Quote
