Etienne Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 I've downloaded the latest Transedit with many new functionality .. fine. To make a clean setup , I've installed it ( with all zip content) in Dvbwiewer root like it is indicated in the new manual. But, when running from there, it is running only at 10 % when i use diseqc different from PosA OptA. When running in a other directory, it is working at 100 % I have found the conflict. It's comming from the bda driver (ttBdaDrvApi_Dll.dll 1.0.1.17) what is in DVBViewer dir . From this directory, i have Positionner not grayed, and this may cause a conflict i suppose. In other dir, Positionner is grayed and all diseqc works fine with Transedit. Notice that i have absolutly no problem with diseqc command in dvbwiewer, i'm latest beta .. and have Skystar HD 1 ( tt3200 like) card. I have no positionner in my system, only a diseqc 4 way switch .. I don't know why it found a positionner .. How to disable the positionner in transedit or solve the problem ? Quote

Griga Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 It's comming from the bda driver (ttBdaDrvApi_Dll.dll 1.0.1.17) what is in DVBViewer dir . That's no driver, but a DLL allowing DVBViewer/TransEdit to access special functions of the driver. From this directory, i have Positionner not grayed, and this may cause a conflict i suppose. Positioner not grayed means that TransEdit uses the ttBdaDrvApi_Dll.dll, so it could send commands to a positioner if you had one, nothing more. It's quite unusual that DVBViewer works, but not TransEdit, because the code is almost the same. Are you sure that you have installed the latest TechnoTrend drivers (from 2009) for the TT 3200? See here. "Treiber" means "driver". However, if you don't want TransEdit to use the ttBdaDrvApi_Dll.dll, do the following: 1) Launch TransEdit. Click Info -> Configuration Folder (opens an Explorer Window). Close TransEdit. 2) Open the file TransEdit.ini from the configuration folder with a text editor (Notepad). 3) Search the [Hardware] section and the entry Vendor.x=3 in this section (x is some number. If you have only one card, it is 0). 4) Change Vendor.x=3 to Vendor.x=10 (making TransEdit believe that you have a TechniSat BDA card). Save TransEdit.ini. 5) Re-launch TransEdit and try DiSEqC. Etienne Posted December 13, 2009 Author Posted December 13, 2009 Yep, thanks for the trick Griga. Vendor.0=10 works fine. Haven't try the new driver because all works fine under latest DVBViewer ( and currently beta ) I suppose that for updating the driver, I had to uninstall first the old one ? Quote

Is it possible to do the same with DVBViewer Pro? If yes, how? Quote
