Hello guys.

First of all, i'm Croatian, so mistakes are possible in my post...

So here it is...

I've discovered that DVBViewer can play AVI files.....I have many of them on my PC...and playing them in BSPlayer or MediaPlayer Classic works with no problem.

Since I've managed to configure remote control (via WinLIRC) to use with DVBViewer, I can now browse video directories and start the video...

The only problem is, that ffdshow video decoder isn't connected when I select and play video....result is skipped video and sometimes DVBViewer stops responding......

I can see that ffdshow audio decoder is connected and doing its job, but no ffdshow video decoder....

I can see ffdshow video decoder in DirecX settings, tried to select it there but no luck....it still isn't connected...

DVBViewer is not disasbled in ffdshow video decoder as application that isn't compatible, so ffdshow is fully compatible with DVBViewer as of ffdshow video decoders point-of-view...

For DVB-S decoding I use all Cyberlink decoders which are doing just fine....

Can you help me with ffdshow video decoder, so I can watch AVI video in DVBViewer?

Thanks!

Hello my friends!

Just want to let you know, I've solved my issue.

Problem was not in codec loading, real problem was with subtitle processing.

So, in DirectVobSub, I've done some changes:

General Tab - Picture size: Extend to 4:3, since I'm using CRT 17'' monitor.

Misc Tab - Checked "Pre-buffer subpictures"

Colors Tab - Force RGB

Main Tab - Override placement is checked, H:50, V:96, subtitles are shown below video preview, as I like...

Hope this helps someone....
