vtriet Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 Oke, I admit I'm new to this, up to now I've always had a Vista Media Center :-) But I've decided on a more complex setup trying to get evrything to work on a Mac With Parallels-Windows XPP for the recording of TV. I've read the various topics and am able to get some TV channels recognized in DVBViewer but only the FTA channels .. .as soon as I try to acces an Encrypted channel the system crashes. I've installed the latest Anysee CNO driver 1.05h it says in the "about menu" and I use TransEdit to find the channels for my Ziggo Cable Tv here in the NL (8888=ziggo). Does anybody have a working Anysee setup with Cable from Ziggo ? or can anyone point me in the right direction on getting this working. My only objective is to get the channels recognized and being able to record them :-) watching them I can do on the Mac ;-) THANKS ! Quote

Deedjee Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 (edited) Same question for me, im searching for a few days already and cant get my trusted DVBViewer home streaming network - to work with that tuner. DVBViewer appears not to, and will not work with the anysee tc plus according to LarsQ elsewhere in this forum. Can't find an (good and fast) alternative viewer/htpc software, only win7 mce seems to work fine, im using that for now, allhoug no streaming, and lesser quality and almost not configurable. DVBViewer has by far the best image quality, ive used it for years every day with the recording service as a server, and a fan of it. Before i used a floppydtv but it broke down. Anysee, about 150 euro, i wished ive checked this forum before, but never expected the card not to work with DVBViewer. I have to buy a new floppy dtv i guess - eventhough not supported anymore by digital everywhere. 125 euro without a cam. Like in "bummer" But perhaps someone has/knows a way to get it to work with a plugin as for progdvb or such. Fingers crossed Edited April 20, 2010 by Deedjee Quote
