keef Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Hi, I am in the UK and using Freesat If I do a scan of available channels I recieve almost 500 channels, How am I expected to manage that many channels ? Relisticaly there are about 20 channels max that I want to watch and to see in either the channel lists or the time line. Can someone tell me how to achieve this. In the past i've deleted channels out of the scan but this stops me from being able to do a rescan for new channels without having to go through the whole process again. I guess what I am looking for is some kind of marker to state that a channel is to be listed in the guide. I see that I've googled for an answer before but not found one so apologies in advance if this question has been answered before. Regards Keith Quote
Griga Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 EPG Window -> Timeline -> Filter (quite obvious, isn't it?) EPG Window -> What's Now -> Select a channel -> press Del (also affects timeline) or alternatively Channellist Editor -> Select a channel -> Exclude from EPG on/off (also affects timeline) Quote
keef Posted January 27, 2010 Author Posted January 27, 2010 Thanks for the reply but I should have been more specific, I run DVBViewer full screen and don't want to use a mouse. So I don't think it's possible to filter on the time line. I've seen the exclude from epg selection box in the channel editor and have thought about using it but there's almost 500 channels to edit. I'll have another look at it the channel editor tonight to see if I can figure out how to exclude all the channels then include that ones I'm interested in. I've tried to do this before but couldn't get it to work hopefully I'll get lucky this time. Keith Quote
