JohanW Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 Hello, Not so long ago I installed sattelite tv with a TV-vlaanderen subscription. I Also bought a technisat skystar USB 2 HD with CI slot, a seca3 cam and a smartwi system (to share cards) The device came with DVBViewer TE edition with it. The TE edition was imo a bit limited (v4.4.3.17) so I decided to buy the pro version (only 15 euro, imo a bargain) After installing the latest stable release, it seemed that all my TV-vlaanderen channels did not work anymore (black screen) So I decided to test the latest beta version. (4.3.1.66) It seems that all my tv-vlaanderen channels work again !!!! I suppose the reason is mediaguard 3 coding algorithm. But I noticed that other channels (most of them are german and FTA) play with a stuttering image and audio. Some of them ex: Discovery, Animal planet, Ego FM, sunshine live, Animal Planet, Hallmark, ZDF HD, ARD HD, TV Oranje,... via filter - dvbsource I noticed lots of discontinuities. The TE edition I tested doesn't have these issues. Is this a known problem with current beta? Just let me know what extra info you need (ex log files maybe?) to find the problem. So My PC config: HP Elite 7000 MT running Windows 7 Pro Inter Core I5 4 GB Ram Nvidia GT 200 Technisat skystar USB 2 HD CI Mediaguard CAM modulre Smartwi cardsharing bundle Quote

Could be you need to switch to custom EVR renderer in Settings>Options>DirectX (note this has a few bugs with corruption on maximising the window though). Quote
JohanW Posted February 13, 2010 Author Posted February 13, 2010 Changing to a custom EVR renderer didn't change anything. I ran the supporttool program and support.zip is attached to this message. Greetings, Johan support.zip Quote
JohanW Posted February 13, 2010 Author Posted February 13, 2010 Another issue I noticed. Some channels were not found: EENHD (ASTRA 3) Frequentie: 11.856 (23,5°) Symbolrate: 27500 FEC: 5/6 Polarisatie: V (Verticaal) I also tried transedit v3.5.2.0, and did "scan selected" for scanning this transponder, but no channels were found. And I'm pretty sure this transponder has HD channels. Quote
Tjod Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 Before you start beta testing make sure you have version 4.2.1 ruing without any problems. Discontinuities are mostly a reception problem (LNB, DiSEqC, multiswitch, cable, TV card, TV card driver). Quote
