DVBviewer - which codec for S2 HD channels?

I have experienced that DVBViewer has been unstable with HD channels.

Some channels causes the app to freeze and crash.

 

My system is using Win7 64bit with ATI 5770 videocard and quad66000 CPU.

Using EVR mostly together with FFDShow tryouts.

Is there a conflict with this codec - do anyone have a suggestion to what to use?

I am able to watch HD channels from the UK and Germany with CoreAVC. It is fairly cheap and should work fine with your setup. Though specifically designed to work with NVidia CUDA it works fine with ATI graphics cards. FFDShow works OK with MPEG-2 decoding. I would recommend the AC3Filter (Google for it) for AC3 sound on HD channels because FFDShow the AC3 sound seems to be quite lousy.
