Random choppy video with drop in CPU usage

Hello,

Some info first:

DVBViewer v. 4.2.1.0

TV Card: Terratec Cinergy HTC USB XD

Mainboard: Gigabyte P35-DS3R

Graphics card: Nvidia GTX 275 with driver 196.21

TV type: DVB-C from the Danish supplier YouSee

Overall, the program works very well. However, I randomly get a split-second "freeze" or "chop" in the video. Sometimes it doesn't really happen, other times it's maybe once every 20 seconds or so. Sometimes every 10 seconds. It doesn't happen on my real TV which also receives the same DVB-C signal. The audio does not freeze and continues without a problem. The strange thing is, when I watch the task manager, I can see that when the "chop" happens, the CPU usage for DVBViewer.exe goes down - from about 10% to about 4% just for that split-second. I guess that's because there's not so much work to do when the video isn't updating for that split-second.

I'm wondering, could it be my TV tuner card or DVBViewer? Are there any settings I can try fiddling with?

Thanks :)
