DVBViewer freezes when switching between HD channels

Hi,

I've been watching the Sky HD channels (1080i) since they occured on KDG without major problems.

However I recently updated my channel list to include the public HD channels Das Erste HD and

ZDF HD (720p). These channels as well work as expected.

I can switch either between Sky HD, or between public HD without problems. I can switch from both

to SD and than back to any of the HD channels without problem.

DVBViewer always freezes if I switch from Sky HD to public HD or vice versa.

While I may be able to handle this while watching (intermediate switch to SD channel) it really makes timer

programming complicate. :-(

Is this a known behavior? Do we know any workaround?

I did not find anything while searching the forum.

If you need any more information about my system, please let me know

Thanks for any input,

CHR

Try to disable the option "fast channel switch" (or whatever it´s called in english -> i´m using the German translation). It can be found @ TV & Radio. Then try again. The CoreAVC codec is not working well with this option enabled!

Maybe you can report back, if this has helped you!

I installed it right now. It works with ATI Hardware acceleration. Look very simila to the Cyberlink Codec. Just the DIVX HD Logo somes on top in the picture after switching the channel. The switching works now faster (1 Sek) than before (5 Sek) to go to a HD Programm (ARD, ZDF HD , ANIXE HD, ARTE HD, Eins Festivall HD.

Bye, Armin
