DVBViewer Rec, timeshift and speed up/down

I have some general questions regarding recording, timeshift and speed up/down:

 

1. Is there an action to stop a current recording? Seems like the stop action (action id 114) doesn't work, only when pressing the rec button again are there then options to stop, delete etc.

 

2. How can one stop timeshift recording and playback via the OSD? I do not want to use the slider. I just want to press stop on the remote and timeshift must stop altogether.

 

3. I mapped the OSD-Left/Right keys to speed up/down, but they only work during dvd playback, not when playing a recording or music cd. Why?

 

I know how to use command.vbs in case there are some workarounds for above problems.

All recordings are processed as timers. And it is possible to have many simultaneous recordings. So it is not possible to stop recordings with one action. You have to delete/disable the timer.

 

2. How can one stop timeshift recording and playback via the OSD? I do not want to use the slider. I just want to press stop on the remote and timeshift must stop altogether.

Press stop two times, first time stops the playback an the scened time stops the timeshift recording.

 

3. I mapped the OSD-Left/Right keys to speed up/down, but they only work during dvd playback, not when playing a recording or music cd. Why?

DVBViewer 4.2.1 didn't support fast forward/ fast rewind for file playback.
