Hi,

I understand that the EPG in this format is not availible with DVBViewer. But, is there any plugin for it? Or, any plans to implement it to DVBViewer somewhere in the future? I can see it implemented already in Enigma on Dream Boxes so maybe it is possible with DVBW?

Any feedback appreciated,

Cheers

Thanks Tjod,

from the links above I think only the one to DJBlu program is relevant to OpenEPG (Australia). The download links are not working thou and the autor can't be contacted (disabled pm manager) so no solution for OpenEPG is availible at this stage I assume?

Cheers

I'm not the sure the programme would be much use to you as DJBlu has obfuscated the code, also I wouldn't feel comfortable handing it over as DJBlu has withdrawn the download link. I think it would be best to contact DJBlu on the mediaportal forums and ask them about it- I believe they posted the code the software was based on somewhere in the mediaportal thread.

Hi,

thanks for this. I contacted him and he asked me for the whole transponder recording where the iEPG exist.

Just to make sure, to do the recording I need to set the timer and then select the "whole transponder" for it. Is there any other setting requirements in DVBV which has to be set to successfuly record the required data?

Thanks

I'm not sure how you get a recording for the whole transponder, the actual OpenEPG to DVBViewer prog uses the NetStream plugin to get the data I think? In the previous version of DJBlu's prog that grabbed an XML file, you had to use ProgDVB to record the EPG transponder data, not sure whether DVBViewer can do this now or not?
