Solarfox Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 (edited) Hi, I`m new here. Since my SkyStar 2 doesn`t work anymore I wonder is there any chance to use my old Sky Star 1 in DVBViewer. I try latest DVBViewer4.3.1.140beta and does not recognize card in hardware section. I still found some very old driver on my HDD (without readme.txt) for Vista 32 when Vista was still BETA and installed card with that driver and guess Technisat Sky Star 1 work in both HW and SW mode in Windows 7 32bit but in ProgDVB with 4x 5x and latest version that i just Downloaded from their site. HD channels doesn`t work in software mode in ProgDVB, but in old days when ASTRA 1080 Promo channel started you can watch that HD channel in Software mode with RITZ DVB on Sky Star 1. I konw that card can`t watch DVB S2. If u force their original drivers from site it will crash windows and win going to loop - restart. I have my DVBViewer what i use for years for my now dead Skystar 2 card. I can`t find anything here about SkyStar 1 and DVBViewer to make it work. Is there any info about that anywhere? btw. i don`t have other revision of cards, just 1.3 and i homemade adapter from JP1 to make RGB-SCART and digital out to my TV and AV receiver. p.s. sorry for bad english...
