Deathman_77 Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 Hi to everyone! This is my computer: - Motherboard Asus P5N73-AM - Processor C2D E7400 2.8 GHz - Grafic card Asus Nvidia 9400 GT - Sound card Auzentech X-Fi Forte PCIex. - 4 Gigas of RAM (2x2) DDR2 800 Kingston. - Hard Disc SATA II 350 gigas - Hard Disc SATA II 1,5 TB - DVB card AverMedia AVerTV DVB-T Super 007 (que con el nuevo driver soporta HD) (every items installed with the latest drivers) I have installed windows xp in HD one and windows 7 in HD 2. The problem is that I installed DVBViewer in windows 7 with the same codecs that are installed in windows XP (Cyberlink 7 for mpg2 standard definition with hardware acceleration active and CoreAVC codec for h.264), with EVR render, and the image quality I get is very poor. The SD image is always pixelated, with EVR and VMR9 renderless render, que the image movement is not smooth. It seems that the grafic card is not accelerating the image. When I try windows xp, same parameters (VMR 7 and 9 renderless), the image quality is superb, well defined, movement smooth and with not pixelations. What can I do? I try the normal and the beta version of DVBViewer. Thank You in advance. Quote
Devastation Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 For Win7 use the EVR and the Microsoft DTV codecs (integrated in Win7). Better then? Otherwise: support.zip Quote
bogdan1980 Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 Or divx. Sometimes on Win7 image freeze on HD channels. I do not know if it's my tuner, my nvidia drivers, etc. Some of my friends have the same problem on win7 with others tuners. Quote
Deathman_77 Posted June 7, 2010 Author Posted June 7, 2010 Hi again! I´ve tried EVR and the Microsoft DTV codecs and the image quality has improve, and also the movement, but it is not as good as the image quality in windows XP. The program has also another problem. The fist time I run DVBViewer after a re-start, the program does not show any image. I have to chage a few channels until the image appears. After that, if I close DVBViewer and start it again, everything goes wright (except for the image quality). Thank U. Quote
paulonline Posted June 13, 2010 Posted June 13, 2010 For Win7 use the EVR and the Microsoft DTV codecs (integrated in Win7). Better then? Otherwise: support.zip unchecking the USE CUSTOM RENDERERS at: Settings > Options > Directx improved the performance here. Quote
