zineyes Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 I bought a DVBViewer PRO 4.2.1 license there is little time and I am very satisfied with the product. I was very interested in the possibility of transmitting the video to my iPhone. For that, I use DVBViewer Recording Service version 1.6.0.0 Beta. I receive the ASTRA satellite channels and I am subscribed to CANAL SATELLITE FRANCE. I have no problem to send the following channels : - MTV Networks Europe Channels - TBS Channels - ABSat Channels I can not transmit none HD channels in CANALSAT FRANCE. Oddly, I have no problem transmitting all channels in HD. I do not understand anything. I tried to change the video and audio codecs , but without results. Am I the only one to have this kind of Bug?? Can you help me? My PC configuration: - DVB TV Card: Technisat Skystar S2 (DVB-S2 TV Card) - Motherboard: ASUS P5K-E WiFi - Graphics: ATI HD 4870 1GB PCI-Express I enclose my file support.zip . Thanks in advance. Regards. support.zip Quote
zeflash Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 As far as I know, the recording service doesn't transcode anything. Meaning your HD channels are sent "as is" to the iphone. I don't think the iphone can handle 1080p at 12Mbps. Quote
Lars_MQ Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 For the iphone the stuff will always be transcoded and specially prepared to be transmitted to the IPhone. First of all: HD channels in H264 are transcoded to h264 in a smaller size. This needs a really fast CPU. Something like Dualcore 3 GHz. You don't need to change any decoders for streaming. Please list the differences between the channels working and the channels not working (encrypted, HD/SD etc.) Quote
