Interlaced Channels at odd sizes

Hi all, DVB plays my freeview great in overlay, but when in EVR mode the standard definition channels (and TV3) are shown at a wrong size. TV3 appears at 2x zoom until I choose "rebulid graph" and the standard definition channels always show at a 4:3 ratio.

 

I'm in new zealand with a nvidia 9000 series card (195.55 drivers), and CoreAVC 1.9.5.

 

Is this a known issue and can anyone help?

ok it seems to be a deinterlacing issue. In corecodec options it was set on "hardware". If i set this to "none" vista seems to do a good job of deinterlacing on most channels by itself (and picture is correct size). so i'm happy.
