set a timer to record every weekday at specific time?

Each week, I am searching for then checking the boxes for a TV show I want to record that is on 2:30-3:30 every weekday.

 

I want to set a timer to always record at those times because I often forget to set it.

 

How do I do this? I try going into "Timer" tab in the web interface and select "Recording Timer" and click "New Timer". T

here is a field there to insert the date.

 

I want it to do it every week day...

If I add a date it only sets a timer for that date.

If I leave the date field blank I get a page that didn't work right

 

How do I do this please?

use the recording service. It can do scheduled recordings and much more. See the wiki for installation instructions.

Just leave the date as it is. Mark all days you want the timer to start and that's it.
