Methven Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 I can record TV as a TS type file but cannot change to PS format. I have changed the Recorder Output Format PS(.mpg) but it still records with a .ts file extension. Pro Version v4.2.1.0 Vista Quote
xarko Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 http://en.DVBViewer.tv/wiki/Options_Service_-_Recorder Recordings of HDTV broadcasts in the new H.264 compression standard, for which the MPEG format is unsuitable, will be recorded in TS format. Quote
Methven Posted July 7, 2010 Author Posted July 7, 2010 Thanks for quick response. That explains my problem. I was trying to record in a format that a Bravia TV could pick up over DLNA network. Quote
Griga Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 You may use the TSPlayer (download from the members area) to convert TS recordings containing H.264 video to a program stream (MPG). However, this is quite unusual, and many players can't cope with it. Quote
Lars_MQ Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 the bravia plays TS without problems. At least reacorings send over UPnP with the recording service... Quote
