Play from rar

I'm a big fan of DVBViewer. The only thing that's missing imho is support to play files from rar.

 

There is a directshowfilter called Rarfilesource (development stopped) that can do this and also XBMC supports playback from rar files.

 

 

Any chance this might get implemented someday?

Are there any plans to integrate this in DVBViewer itself?

 

XBMC has it too but XBMC does not fully support Live TV yet..

 

 

DVBViewer is a much better alternative..

Hello erwin,

 

RarFS needs to be cross compiled for windows.. I can't do that..

 

Also winmount wants you to mount every thing separately. Dont think we can do this with a remote control from my chair
