majstang Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 Hi! Add: VCR: Added the “lazy CAM” handling of grigas plugin directly into the recording engine. Now the DVBViewer checks at the beginning of a recording if Audio/Video packets marked as decrypted are actually decrypted and ignores them if they are encrypted. Did see this in the DVBViewer beta changelog which sounds very intriguing and something i have wanted a long time. However it is somewhat unclear which plugin who has been merged with the recording engine. Are you talking about the streampatcher plugin which will make the recording engine handle scrambled flags per automatic? If so congratulations DVBViewer users and VERY NICE WORK DEVELOPERS Another great improvement to this awesome DVBViewer system Quote
Lars_MQ Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 It handles the following: The CAM sets the encrypted flag in the TS packet to false, even if it didn't start the decryption. This means the stream is still encrypted but flagged as not encrypted. These packets are now ignored at the start of a recording. Quote

Yes, and if im not misstaken this would mean no more recording errors Quote
