steven627 Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 I have just started using Recording Services V1.6.2.3 and have noticed a number of problems some of which may be installation issues that I will try to resolve by further reading. However, two issues I have noticed are almost certainly not related to an incorrect installation. Firstly the date values stored by DVBViewer in the recordinginfo.txt file are in this format dd/mm/yyyy while in RS they are in this format dd.mm.yyyy. This is correctly translated by DVBViewer by selecting "Connect to recordings list". However, and the second bug, while this works fine on the PC running the service on any connected PC this maps the recording to C:\Documents and Settings\LocalService\Application Data\CMUV\DVBViewer\Capture which, of course, is not where it is. To work around this I mapped the capture folder on the remote PC but now the recording date comes out as 30/12/1899. Quote
Lars_MQ Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 check the locales settings of the system account. this is no bug but a windows settings issue. Quote
steven627 Posted September 22, 2010 Author Posted September 22, 2010 Lars_MQ: I assume you are referring to Regional and Language Options. If so then the separator set here is "/". If you are referring to something else, such as a reg entry, can you please be a bit more specific. Many thanks. Quote
