themaster1 Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 (edited) In the new version 4.5.0 RC i'd like to remove the option "press 0 to start from beginning" for the media player, i'd rather like either the option "resume" with the yes/no option like in the previous version or the file that directly start from the beginning. Thanks for your help. Edited September 23, 2010 by themaster1 Quote
uglyned Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 I much prefer the 'press 0 to start from beginning' method. For a start, no matter whether I want to resume or restart, it's less button presses than it used to be. And most times I only watch something once, so if I stop it half way through and come back, I want to resume. If it gets to the end of the programme and I stop it during the closing credits, I've watched it and I'm unlikely to come back and want to watch it from the start again. So the logic works. Quote
themaster1 Posted September 23, 2010 Author Posted September 23, 2010 Get used to it. Certainly not, i'm sure there is a tweak, a line of code i can put in the setup.xml...something so enlighten me please, this "press 0 thing" is really annoying i want my videos to start from the beginning at all times or at least a dialog yes/no to resume...or Not. Tjod Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 You should read the Changelog: http://www.DVBViewer.tv/forum/topic/42221-DVBViewer-pro-45-rc1/ Change: Resume Playback: Removed the resume playback dialog. Now you can define in the DVD/Video options if you want to start always from the beginning or always resume. If you use "always resume" a info field is shown "To start from the beginning press 0". You can define how long it is shown in the said option. If you set the time to 0 it wont be shown at all. Quote
