antdude Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 (edited) Once in a while, I noticed my DVBViewer Pro 4.2.1.0's recording seems to get corrupted with audio desynchronization by a few seconds (audio delayed) in the latest K-Lite Codec Mega Pack's Media Player Home Cinema and Windows Media Player v10. If I try to play the same files in DVBViewer Pro, then the video freezes. I can't skip, fast forward, etc. VideoLAN Client Media Player v1.1.4 can play it, but no audio. Example with the latest recording with this incident: Log (*.log): NBC-4LA (eng) 4.1 9/22/2010 G:\videos\recorded\TV\09-22_19-55-00_NBC-4LA (eng) 4.1_Undercovers.mpg Device: Air2PC-ATSC-PCI 2 7:55:00 PM / 12:00:00 AM (~ 0.0 MB) Start 7:55:01 PM / 12:00:01 AM (~ 0.0 MB) Errors: 2 7:55:01 PM / 12:00:01 AM (~ 0.0 MB) PID 52: AC3 Audio 5.1, 48 khz, 384 kbps 7:55:01 PM / 12:00:01 AM (~ 0.0 MB) PID 53: AC3 Audio Stereo, 48 khz, 192 kbps 7:55:02 PM / 12:00:02 AM (~ 1.0 MB) PID 49: MPEG2 Video, 16:9, 1920x1080, 29.97 fps 9:00:48 PM / 1:05:48 AM (~ 6287.6 MB) Stop Average Data Rate: 1.592 MB/s Total Size: 6287.6 MB (6593035135 Bytes) Log (.txt): [General] Version=1.1 [Media] Created=9/22/2010 7:55:00 PM Channel=NBC-4LA (eng) 4.1 LastShown=12/30/1899 LastPosition=0 Played=0 [0] Id=103 Date=9/22/2010 Time=8:00:00 PM Duration=1:00:00 AM Title=Undercovers Info= Description=Steven and Samantha Bloom, formerly two of the CIA's best spies, are reinstated when a good friend goes missing. I also think the corruption happens in the beginning of the recording too because I recalled seeing green screen in the past with the problems. Any ideas? Thank you in advance. hackbart Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 Can you please use the 4.5 instead of the 4.2? Christian Quote
antdude Posted September 23, 2010 Author Posted September 23, 2010 Can you please use the 4.5 instead of the 4.2? Christian Isn't v4.5 still a prerelease? Did it fix this problem? http://www.DVBViewer.tv/forum/forum/8-news-announcements/ shows it at RC1. Quote
