tomas.jurksas Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Your must select System locale everywhere Russian Quote
vdl Posted September 24, 2010 Author Posted September 24, 2010 (edited) thats not really unicode way also i think it would make some other programs not work with latvian characters. i checked channels.dat format - channel names are not stored as unicode chars. so for now i made small software to transliterate russian channel names to ascii un write back channels.dat . i hope DVBViewer will get full unicode support someday. transliterated channel sample - http://3priedez.net/images/uploads/img.2010.09.24.kdcRHL.jpg Edited September 24, 2010 by vdl Quote
Tjod Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Unicode support EPG and file handling is now completely in Unicode. mp3 tags (Music tags) are also in Unicode. The databases are now in Unicode (UTF-8). The Recording file name is in Unicode now. The OSD shows Unicode correctly everywhere. The User Interface shows Unicode correctly everywhere. Channel names and favorites do NOT use Unicode for now. Change: Play lists: The play list loader now detects UTF-8 encoded and non UTF-8 encoded files and loads them accordingly. Change: Teletext: Integrated the new Teletext engine by Griga. It is fully Unicode compatible and contains a lot of improvements. http://www.DVBViewer.tv/forum/topic/42221-DVBViewer-pro-45-rc1/ http://www.DVBViewer.tv/forum/topic/20675-transedit-discussion/page__view__findpost__p__274070 Quote
_____________________________________________________________________________________ Use TransEdit for the scan channels. It is allows scan and subsequently display the cyrillic channels names starting from version 3.5.2. The locale must be CP_1251 (Russian). Edited October 10, 2010 by evgen_ln Quote
