beachcomber Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 Hi, The Redruth Terrestrial Transmitter Cornwall UK is now transmitting DVB-T2 High Definition. This is a new format to me and I am wondering if it is visible on DVBViewer Pro without alterations to the DVBViewer Program itself, or do I need to replace the PCI Card when one is available to stream the new standard. I cannot see any HD transmissions on DVBViewer or TransEdit when scanning with my AverMedia PCI Card A16A. The system is transmitted in 256QAM 2/3 32K DVB-T2 Standard. My system: DVBViewer Pro. Cards : AverMedia A16A Terrestrial Card their own Tuner supports MPEG4 H264 but I am not sure about whether it will stream the new format DVD-T2. Technotrend Budget 3200 Sat card. Operating System Windows 7. Processor Core Duo. Can any others in UK get the HD MUX using a Terrestrial Card been able to view these transmissions. Many Thanks in advance, beachcomber123 Quote

beachcomber Posted September 25, 2010 Author Posted September 25, 2010 Hi Lars, Thanks for quick reply will be on lookout from now for a new PCI card. Trust the BBC to launch a service that is so lightly supported with boxes and PCI cards that not many people can watch it. Will launch BBC1 on Freesat soon so that will be a bit of an sweetener. Thanks a lot, beachcomber. Quote
