Cease rendering while recording?

This may be a bit of an odd question, but is it possible to configure DVBViewer to cease rendering while recording?

 

Decoding HD content takes a fair chunk of CPU, it's quite inconvinient to do that and do something else such as gaming when trying to record HD.

 

I know that this can be achieved by using timeshift, but the file gets deleted as soon as you stop watching.

Never mind, I just found the "Keep Timeshift File" option. I love you guys :P
