Laserwave Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 (edited) I use 2 monitors in extend mode regularly, but sometimes I'm only on one. DVBV remembers the previous 2-monitor situation, and when I press "hide all" in 1-monitor mode, the window disappears, obviously 'moving' to the 2nd monitor which is not available. Is there a way around this? Edited October 15, 2010 by Laserwave Quote
blasgl Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 If you use W7 try cycling the active window through the monitors with "Win + ->" several times. Quote
Laserwave Posted October 15, 2010 Author Posted October 15, 2010 (edited) Yes, but that just cycles between modes: Monitor 1, Duplicate (Clone), Extend, Monitor 2. If I watch DVBV on extend mode/monitor 2, close DVBV, switch to monitor 1 alone (Computer only), I cannot use "Hide All" without turning extend mode on again. edit: I confused your suggestion with Win+P, thanks very much, Win+cursor gets the window back, although it'd be nice if this was handled automatically.
