dannii
Hi, Is there a way to have video playback at exactly the size it is ? So that 720p material would use exactly 720 pixels vertically and a PAL standard def would use exactly 576 pixels vertically ? ITunes playback has an "actual size" option that seems to do this. I think this gives the best picture because there is no upscaling or downscaling involved. Thanks Quote Link to comment
Gioxy
(...Obviously...) you have to be in windowed mode, then: • right click on view area and choose "View / Zoom / 100%" BTW, you can assign a remote button to that, see: "setting / Options / Input / Screen control / 100%" Also you can command DVBViewer to do so with action "30"... find all actions command in "actions.ini" file in main DVBViewer folder Anyway, if you have a good Video Card / MPEG2 decoder IMHO you shouldn't see big quality differences... dannii
Hi Gioxy, Ive been away for a few days... Don't know how I missed that zoom 100% but I did so thanks. It may be wishful thinking but any upscaling looks bad to me. If it's got 720 lines then I want to watch it with 720 lines, 720 comes out at about a 28inch diagonal on my 1080 line 42inch plasma which is the size of my old CRT ! thanks again Quote Link to comment
