leecovuk Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 (edited) Hello, I've been struggling for a long time trying to get lip sync right in DVBViewer, either for DVB-S or DVB-S2. I have been somewhat randomly trying different codecs / settings / pc settings with little success. Obviously my pc may differ to yours, but how do YOU achieve perfect audio / video lip sync? What are your codecs and their settings, and DVBViewer renderer choices and settings? In case it helps or is relevant, here are some of my pc details : (latest updates and drivers installed) AMD Phenom 8600 Triple Core Processor 2.30GHz RAM 2GB Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit ATI Radeon HD 4300/4500 Series (+Catalyst Control Centre software/drivers) Realtek HD Audio Controller Monitor = LG Flatron W2043S (VGA. Of course I don't get to see great or HD quality but I still want to watch channels or pc playback that happens to be HD) Feel free to ask if you need to know anything further. Latency / lip sync is a battle I am losing! (it is not wrong by seconds but only slightly; still annoying though) Thank you, Lee UK Edited October 24, 2010 by leecovuk Quote
