3 questions about DVB 4.5 and RS

Hopefully someone can help me with these 3 questions?

 

Question 1:

Is it possible to update from DVB Pro ver. 4.2.1.0 to the new version, without having to go through all the trouble of the installation again?

Fx.

- Copy the configuration folder from the old DVB Pro, before deleting it.

- Install new version of DVB pro.

- Copy old configuration folder to the new install?

 

Or maybe some other way?

 

Question 2:

 

Can I still use RS with DVB Pro ver. 4.5?

 

Question 3:

kind of the same as question 1. Only difference is that i want to upgrade RS

Just run the setup. You don't have to do the wizards again, it retains all your settings.

ok? and that goes for both DVBViewer and RS?

Well, i followed Uglyned´s advice and installed the new DVBViewer on top of the old one.

All settings was retained as Ned wrote, but the programstartup takes forever now.

Is that normal for ver. 4.5, or is it b/c i did not make a fresh install?
