balky Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 (edited) I use the iMON remote which came with my HTPC case and it seems like when I try to close running programs the app. exit button works well with all except DVBV. Whenever I try to use the app. exit button to stop DVBV, all I get is a dark screen and after some time, I found out that with the app. exit button only the graph stopped and DVBV will not start again until I do a right click on the dark screen and select exit. I have noticed this since version 3.2 and currently running version 4.5. It only becomes an issue for me now as I am trying to setup my harmony remote to do all the start/stop of the system. Is there a parameter I can set somewhere that will make DVBV close altogether when I press the app. exit button? Or better put, what keyboard shortcuts can I use for closing DVBV completely? Thanks for your help. Edited November 3, 2010 by balky Quote
majstang Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Well, for me there is no problem to close DVBViewer 4.5 with iMON app.exit button. It has always worked flawless no matter what DVBViewer version used. Quote
balky Posted November 4, 2010 Author Posted November 4, 2010 Thanks, Can you kindly check under iMON manager - program commander - DVBViewer and let me know the keyboard combination you're using for app. exit. I have ctrl+Q in my case, and it only closes the graph. Thanks once more. Quote
balky Posted November 4, 2010 Author Posted November 4, 2010 Ok, I got it... For those who might need this in the future, you need to go to options - input and select the function you want to configure on your remote. Press the learn key and choose any key on your keyboard that is not already assigned to another function. The key you have chosen will appear under the function after which you can apply to save your change. In imon manager, under program controller assign your newly selected keyboard button to the action you want to modify. That's it. Many thanks for the loud silence which got me to figure this out Quote
