Chuck35
It would be nice to have a selection field for device in the sat (and tp) setup for preferred device. Choices could be auto (default) and the ability to scroll thru installed devices, reverting to auto if preferred device is not installed/detected when tuning. I have multiple tuners connected to multiple dishes, this would be a nice addition! Thanks, Chuck Quote Link to comment
Tjod
If only some card is able to relive a satellite/channel you can use the channel groups A-H to associated them. And you can change the over all preference by sorting the devices in Options > Hardware via drag and drop. The DVBViewer takes the first free device which is able to handle the channel (DVB-S, has CI, DVB-S2, channel group). Quote Link to comment
Chuck35
Ahh It seems there are many ways to skin a cat Where do you assign a satellite or channel to a group? Quote Link to comment
Tjod
You have to select which card is associated with which channel groups in Options > Hardware (by default all cards are associated with all channel groups). And than you have to selected the channel group in the channel list editor (by default all channels are in group A) and/or by the channel scan. Quote Link to comment
Chuck35
I see the group choices in hardware options, but I can't seem to find them in the channel editor Quote Link to comment
Griga
Right-click an entry and select the channel group in the according sub-menu. If the entry is a root or category node, the selected channel group will be set for all contained channels. Quote Link to comment
