Hi,

I have a DVBViewer installation with Recording services on 1 PC and DVBViewer Pro 4.5 installed on the same server (Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit) and on my laptop (Windows 7 Professional 64 bit) as IPTV client.

Everything works very fine, the only issue is the format of date/time in the EPG information in the laptop pc. I set the language in all the possible point to Italian and the regional setting of the PC are also italian but the information are shown in english format.

On the server I have exactly the same settings but the date/time information are show in the right way.

May be is related to the 64 bit environment, or maybe I forgot some settings?

If is useful, my DVB card is a SKYstar HD2.

The server is based on AMD chipset with Athlon CPU and Radeon 3850 graphics cards

The laptop is a Dell Latitude E6500 with Intel Hardware.

Thanks.

It is a known Windows 7 bug. Under certain circumstances Windows 7 creates wrong registry entries for the regional settings on installation. Particularly PCs with pre-installed Windows 7 are affected.

You can fix it by changing the regional settings to English (-> click OK) and then back to Italian (-> click OK).

Great, thank you very much!!!!

I didnt't think to try to change the setting, very simple solution, and probably solve other "hidden" problem.

BTW, o.s. on my laptop was preinstalled, on the server not.
