Hello...

I have an DVBworld PCI 2004D digital satellite card and a 4 port switch. Under the native DVBworld viewer works alright but it doesn't work under DVBViewer Pro...

I tried with transedit, and did the following:

- Open the file TransEdit.ini with Notepad (TransEdit must be closed)

- Change the Vendor.0=0 entry in the [Hardware] section to Vendor.0=14. Save it.

- Launch TransEdit, select a suitable transponder list on the left side, set DiSEqC to Poisiton A/OPT B, click Apply and try if you can scan Transponders with the second LNB.

It could find all channels, but in DVBViewer it still couldn't find any channels.

What can i do to make it work?

Thanks in advance...

Please attach your TransEdit.ini here. It contains the ID of you card. We need it for automatic hardware detection and applying the correct DiSEqC method in future.

The next DVBViewer Pro service update (within the next weeks) will most likely be able to handle it correctly due to a more sophisticated and more complete hardware detection method.

You can also try DVBViewer GE (see menbers area, read the ReadMe!). It allows to apply the Vendor-Tweak in the file Setup.ini (DVBViewer Pro unfortunately doesn't, so there is nothing you can do ATM). DVBViewer GE is technically up-to-date, but doesn't provide all DVBViewer Pro features (no CI support, no DVB subtitles...)

You are using an old TransEdit version 3.5.4. The 3.6 release detects your card automatically.
