yeha@op.pl Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 I would like to have possibility to choose, what an ECM/EMM of ECM's list of currently running channel is sending to my CAM module. Nowaday, I have CAM module from Polsat (Nagravision 3) whith payed legal TV, and I can't watching all of the channels I payed, bacause some channels have different cueue of ECMs and my CAM often doesn't get right ECM to decode. You can see what I want in a picture in attachment. I would like to send "2" ECM (Nagra3) to CAM module, but in default state, CAM gets "1" ECM, and can not decode them, because ECM is from Seca3 coding system. Is it difficult to implement such a funcionality at properties of each channel in DVBViewer? MyTheatre has such a possibility to choose which ECM I want to use, so, why DVBViewer couldn't has it? Tjod Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 The DVBViewer has nothing to-do with the ECM. The DVBViewer tells only the TV card driver what streams should be decrypted. The rest is the part from TV card driver, CI, CAM and smart card. Quote
yeha@op.pl Posted November 27, 2010 Author Posted November 27, 2010 (edited) OK, I get it. So, why in MyTheatre everything goes well on POLSAT CAM module (I mean TVN channel),and under DVBViewer, a CAM module cant decode that channel. All of these programs are using the same driver, so what is the difference? Edited November 27, 2010 by yeha@op.pl Quote
Benarty Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 The DVBViewer has nothing to-do with the ECM. The DVBViewer tells only the TV card driver what streams should be decrypted. The rest is the part from TV card driver, CI, CAM and smart card. That's the reason why multi encription cam's don't work under DVBViewer. Quote
Derrick Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 The reason is that these modules don't comply to the standards Quote
