Morten L Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 Hi I have used DVBViewer 4.5.0.0 and Recording Service 1.6.8.2 for a while with a cheap DVB-T USB stick and Haupauge Win-CI without any problems. I have now tried with a Terratec H7 USB with build-in CI/CAM module. Terratec H7 works very fine when used local in DVBViewer without RS. I can se free and pay channels (Boxer, Denmark) without any problems. But, when using Recording Service only the free channels are showing up in DVBViewer - the crypted channels dosn't show - black screen, no sound. When I record the ts stream is empty. I have tried diffent BDA drivers - same result. I have also tried different H.264 codecs but the most stable i MS DTV-DVD driver. Please help me! Kind regards Morten Lassen, Denmark support.zip Quote
Morten L Posted January 7, 2011 Author Posted January 7, 2011 I have investigated som more... The CAM menu is active when using TerraTec H7 local. When using via Recording Service the CAM menu is inactive and therefore RS can't decrypt. /Morten Quote
Anders Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 I have the same problem. I'm also using the Terratec H7. I had to reinstall earlier version. 1.6.5.2, for example, works with H7 and encrypted channels. /Anders Quote
Lars_MQ Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 1. Stop the service 2. find the svchardware.xml 3. change
4
to
5
4. start the service. Does this help? Quote
Morten L Posted January 10, 2011 Author Posted January 10, 2011 1. Stop the service 2. find the svchardware.xml 3. change
4
to
5
4. start the service. Does this help? Thanks Lars - it worked like a charm But scan hardware overwrites svchardware.xml back til normal so after changing svchardware.xml don't touch the scan button. Quote
Lars_MQ Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 yes I forgot to mention this. Thanks for the feedback, we will correct the wrong detection in the next version. Quote
