SpooZ Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 (edited) HI Now that the discovery channels have moved on Thor satelite they now have Rumainian DVB-T subtitels. But they also have all nordic Languages as teletext subtitels. In settings/Subtitels/DVB-T subs. I have "Enable if available" and Swedish & English. But as soon as i switch on one of the channels below. Rumaninan or First DVB-T sub will be enabled instead of the Teletext i have selected. This is very annoyinig since i have to disable sub and enable teletext 691 again for each time i switch to one of the channels. Thor 6 Discov Science (Eng) Discov World (Eng) Discov Tra&Liv (Eng) Astra 4A (4.8E) Viasat History (swe) EDIT/ And the bug is still there in version 4.6 EDIT/ The bug still remains in 4.6.0.1 Edited January 22, 2011 by SpooZ Quote

SpooZ Posted January 23, 2011 Author Posted January 23, 2011 switch off automatic selection or try the latest fix or learn rumanian http://www.DVBViewer.tv/forum/topic/44158-DVBViewer-pro-46/page__pid__325804#entry325804 Latest fix didn't help. If i switch off automatic selection i won't get swedish subtitels on all other channels. This bug has always existed in DVBViewer since version 3.4 atleast. I have mentioned it before. but nothing happened then. But now there are several channels that are affected. Quote
blomman Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Same issue here, can you disable the Romanian dvb subtitle stream or something ? Quote
SpooZ Posted January 26, 2011 Author Posted January 26, 2011 Same issue here, can you disable the Romanian dvb subtitle stream or something ? Heere is what i do to get it working. Disable subtitle and then select teletext 691 again. If you don't disable the sub first. Both teletext and DVB subtitels will be displayed. Quote
blomman Posted May 7, 2011 Posted May 7, 2011 (edited) Still not fixed in 4.8.0.1, lets hope for 4.9 then Edited May 7, 2011 by blomman Quote
Tjod Posted May 7, 2011 Posted May 7, 2011 There is no bug, as far as I can see every thing work correct. In settings/Subtitels/DVB-T subs. I have "Enable if available" and Swedish & English. But as soon as i switch on one of the channels below. Rumaninan or First DVB-T sub will be enabled instead of the Teletext i have selected. If you select "Enable if available" on all channels with DVB subtitels thy will be enabled. If one of the selected languages is available it will be selected. And if not the first language will be selected. And I think this will not change. Because there are channels with only one Subtitel language, which did not set the language corrected. If you don't like DVB subtitels on all channels with DVB subtitels you have to disable "Enable if available". Quote
blomman Posted May 7, 2011 Posted May 7, 2011 There is no bug, as far as I can see every thing work correct. If it's not a bug, then it's bad design, the application should remember what subtitle i select. displaying 2 subtitles simultaneously is not what i call "work correct" fortunately only discovery channels has this problem so it's not a big problem Quote
bogdan1980 Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 What's the problem, you learn romanian, latin language, sounds better then italian, spanish, etc:) Quote
SpooZ Posted May 30, 2011 Author Posted May 30, 2011 (edited) Still not fixed in 4.8.0.1, lets hope for 4.9 then Yes. Still selects DVB-T subtitle in 4.8.0.1. Even if Teletext sub was selected. You still have to select no subtitle. And then select the subtitle you want. This should not be so hard to fix.!!! Edited May 30, 2011 by SpooZ Quote
