dvbwatcher372 Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 The online manual says it is possible to import several different channel list formats (I am interested in .sdx). I am using the latest version of DVBViewer (4.6.whatever). However in the channel list editor I only seem to see 2 choices .ini and .csv. Do I need to look somewhere else, install some plugins, or is the manual wrong? Quote
Tjod Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 The plugins for .sdx (and the other formats) didn't work since some versions (therefore it is removed from the members section). And it seems nobody is interested to update them (or it is possibility because not all needed parameter are existing in the format). The manual on DVBViewer.com is out-dated in many parts. Quote
dvbwatcher372 Posted February 5, 2011 Author Posted February 5, 2011 Thanks for your help. As a followup, is there documentation some place that shows what info is expected in a .csv import file (assuming that really works)? Quote
Tjod Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 The .csv export and import works. There is no documentation for the .csv File (as fare as I know). But if you export a channel as .csv File (from DVBViewer Channel list Editor or TransEdit) you can look what is stored wearer. I don't know which informations are relay necessary for the channel auto update. But at least frequency and the Service-ID (and may be DiSEqC and other settings) Quote
