lyngsie Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 Hi, I try to use the Options - Input - Teach to insert commands for my MCE remote. Nothing happens. As it's MCE compatible remote, a few keys already work (1 - 9, volume and mute), but when I try to teach DVBViewer to recognize a random button on the remote and link it to i.e. teletext or channel +/- nothing happens. What could be wrong? The remote I got is this one: http://www.hauppauge.se/site/products/data_mcremote.html Quote
desweil Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 I think you need to active input plugin for MCE see here http://de.DVBViewer.tv/wiki/Optionen_Eingabeplugins Quote
lyngsie Posted February 12, 2011 Author Posted February 12, 2011 (edited) How can I import more options like in the link you gave (I'm no good at german)? I only have Winlirc in there. Sorry to be such a newbie, but I can't seem to find more than the MCE.remote file, and importing that doesn't do anything. Edited February 12, 2011 by lyngsie Quote

lyngsie Posted February 12, 2011 Author Posted February 12, 2011 Okay - MCE plugin is active but still nothing happens when I try to teach DVBViewer new/change keys. Quote
lyngsie Posted February 12, 2011 Author Posted February 12, 2011 Solution: As this is only a Hauppauge remote using another DVB-T tuner, I had to download IR32.exe use that while running DVBViewer. IR32.exe from Hauppauge can be downloaded here: http://www.wintvcd.co.uk/downloads/IR32.exe Quote
